Reading | Ps 119 is the longest psalm in the Hebrew Scriptures that we have today. The Book of Common Prayer uses this psalm every Wednesday and breaks it into sections with each section striving to tell of something of the human condition or what prayers were important to the writer. The easiest way to get through this psalm (and all psalms) is to pray you way through it.

What is the writer praying for? How does this impact or is relevant to my life?
Sometimes it can be just giving me the words to pray in circumstances that I have a hard time articulating. Sometimes we just have to praise and thank God for what the Lord has given to us today. Sometimes we gain the rhythm of life and God.
This psalm can't be cleanly classified as it is one of free composition.

O God, the King of glory, you have exalted your only Son Jesus Christ with great triumph to your kingdom in heaven: Do not leave us comfortless, but send us your Holy Spirit to strengthen us, and exalt us to that place where our Savior Christ has gone before; who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, in glory everlasting. Amen.
