“Bible’s Greatest Hits” were selected by the Rev. Tom Pumphrey based on their importance and as a sampling of the sections they represent as found in his book, A Tour of the Bible: An Introduction for the Unfamiliar. Images illustrating the readings are in the public domain, via Wikimedia Commons.
These were compiled by Barbara Klugh, Traverse City, Michigan. Barbara is a lay biblical scholar and attends Grace Episcopal Church. Barbara is known for her work with the Revised Common Lectionary reading each week called, Engaging the Word.
