God heals, redeems, gives you youth, made the Lord's ways and mercy; God has removed our sins from us; we are mortal here today and gone tomorrow -but God endures forever; God's throne is in heaven; bless those who do God's will.
Isaiah 62 - God will rejoice over Zion as a new father over a new mother; they shall be called the Holy Ones and Redeemed of God.

Revelation 19 - Alleluia – evil is defeated – God reigns after a war.

Matthew 1 - Mary was found to be pregnant; Gabriel appears to Joseph and tells of the child; Joseph allows things to happen, marries Mary, and names the child Jesus.

Collect of the Day: The Holy Name

Eternal Father, who gave to your incarnate Son the holy name of Jesus to be the sign of our salvation: Plant in every heart, we pray, the love of him who is the Savior of the world, our Lord Jesus Christ; who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, in glory everlasting. Amen.
