Psalm 19  - Literary type | Hymn click here.
The glory of God's Creation; Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart
    be acceptable to you,
    Lord, my rock and my redeemer.

Isaiah 45 - 8  For thus says the Lord,
who created the heavens
    (he is God!),
who formed the earth and made it
    (he established it;
he did not create it a chaos,
    he formed it to be inhabited!):
I am the Lord, and there is no other.
19 I did not speak in secret,
    in a land of darkness;
I did not say to the offspring of Jacob,
    ‘Seek me in chaos.’
I the Lord speak the truth,
    I declare what is right.
Idols will not save Babylon; only the Lord is righteous

Philippians 3 - I regard everything as loss because of the surpassing value of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord.

Acts 9 - Then Saul persecutes the Church and is on the road to do the same when he encounters Jesus and is struck down blind; taken to think about it; greatest story of a volunteer and his conversation with Jesus; Ananias by God's power heals now Paul and tells him of his coming ministry.

Today: Where would the Christian Church be today if St. Paul did not answer the call to be a disciple? One person's faith can change the world!

Collect -

Collect of the Day: The Conversion of St. Paul

O God, who by the preaching of your apostle Paul have caused the light of the Gospel to shine throughout the world: Grant, we pray, that we, having his wonderful conversion in remembrance, may show ourselves thankful to you by following his holy teaching; through Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with you, in the unity of the Holy Spirit, one God, now and for ever. Amen.
