Thursday after Epiphany 2

Psalm 37  - Literary type | Wisdom click here.
Don't worry; Trust in God and do good; the wicked will perish, but our ways are firm in the Lord; the mouths of the righteous speak wisdom and justice;
Genesis 11 - Tower of Babel; they could do anything if they are one; let us confuse and scatter their language; they scattered to the whole earth.

Hebrews 6 - God's promises will come to pass; Abraham believed in God; Jesus is the promise of God and the new great high priest for our salvation.
John 4 - Jesus breaks the social norms to not only talk to a woman but hated Samaritans and speaks to her of living water that lasts forever; Salvation is for all....

Today: Salvation and forgiveness is for all. Who have you forgiven today? The body of Christ/the holy, catholic and apostolic church/communion of saints has been called to forgive and be inclusive of all. How are you doing this?

General Thanksgiving

Almighty God, Father of all mercies, we your unworthy servants give you humble thanks for all your goodness and loving-kindness to us and to all whom you have made. We bless you for our creation, preservation, and all the blessings of this life; but above all for your immeasurable love in the redemption of the world by our Lord Jesus Christ; for the means of grace, and for the hope of glory. And, we pray, give us such an awareness of your mercies, that with truly thankful hearts we may show forth your praise, not only with our lips, but in our lives, by giving up our selves to your service, and by walking before you in holiness and righteousness all our days; through Jesus Christ our Lord, to whom, with you and the Holy Spirit, be honor and glory throughout all ages. Amen.
