Read Today
Psalm 88
My savior, I call to you for I am in trouble, I am on the edge of the pit, I am separated from everyone, I call to you daily, please hear me, how can I proclaim you when I am dead?, I am persecuted; where are you  my God?
Genesis 47
Joseph brings his family before Pharoah and the King gives them the land of Goshen; the famine continues and Egypt trades all their money, livestock, land, and then freedom in exchange for food so that now the King owned everything in the land under Joseph stewardship; and all became slaves. Joseph garnered 20% tax on all commodities grown or produced for the benefit of Pharoah.
1 Corinthians 9
I become like those who I am talking to in order to have them saved; get salvation and train as a disciple like a runner and win the race to win the prize.
Mark 6
Evening in the boat, Jesus walked on the water to them and calmed the storm; all of the sick of that region were brought to Jesus to be healed even those who touched the fringe of his robe.
Today - Do you have the faith to walk on water and heal?
Pray

A Collect for Fridays

Almighty God, whose most dear Son went not up to joy but first he suffered pain, and entered not into glory before he was crucified: Mercifully grant that we, walking in the way of the cross, may find it none other than the way of life and peace; through Jesus Christ your Son our Lord. Amen.
