Opening Sentence

Psalm 102
Lord do not hide from me and hear my prayer; I am weak and ill; everyone is against me; I wither like the grass; but you Lord are timeless and your mercy it known through out everywhere; the homeless prayers will be heard; Do not limit my time here.... You will transform me.

Lamentations 2
Take on sack cloth and repent; wail and mourn; your prophets are wrong; enemies gather because you have not repented and turned from your evil ways as a nation.

1 Corinthians 10
Paul writes; flee from idols; we take the communion as the body of Christ; examine yourself and take communion righteously.

Mark 14
Jesus and the disciples do the Passover and hear of Jesus betrayal; holy communion is instituted for the first time.

Collect of the Day: Maundy Thursday
Almighty Father, whose dear Son, on the night before he suffered, instituted the Sacrament of his Body and Blood: Mercifully grant that we may receive it thankfully in remembrance of Jesus Christ our Lord, who in these holy mysteries gives us a pledge of eternal life; and who now lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen.
