Daily Office Readings & Reflections
Psalm 31
I have taken refuge in you O Lord; you redeem me; I will rejoice at your mercy; you guide me; I am ill please heal me; You are my God; take me away from those who persecute me and lie about me; You protect your people; I am blessed by God; be strong and take courage for those who wait on the Lord.
Exodus 4
Moses argument with God about Moses lack of ability to speak in public; God says God will give him the words but Moses does not want to do it; God gets mad and says to tell Aaron God's words and he will speak them in public; God gives Moses His power through Moses staff; Moses takes his household and returns to Egypt to see his people; his father-in-law bids him to go in peace.
Romans 14 - Paul writes to the Romans.
Pursue spiritual gifts from God; about speaking in tongues; have interpreters; excel in spiritual gifts; pray with the mind and Spirit; the outsider does not know what you are saying and is not built up.
Mark 9 - Jesus was teaching his disciples in Galilee and told them of his suffering and death; who must be a leader must be a servant among you; Do not stop anyone who proclaims and act in Christ's name for they will be blessed.

Collect of the Day: The Fifth Sunday in Lent
Almighty God, you alone can bring into order the unruly wills and affections of sinners: Grant your people grace to love what you command and desire what you promise; that, among the swift and varied changes of the world, our hearts may surely there be fixed where true joys are to be found; through Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and for ever. Amen.
For Mission
O God, you have made of one blood all the peoples of the earth, and sent your blessed Son to preach peace to those who are far off and to those who are near: Grant that people everywhere may seek after you and find you; bring the nations into your fold; pour out your Spirit upon all flesh, and hasten the coming of your kingdom; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
