Exodus 25
The Lord said to Moses to have the people build a Tabernacle and the Ark of the Covenant. And they did.

Colossians 3
Focus on things on things above and ignore the earthly ways that you once lived; you are clothed with a new self in Christ; act like it; forgive others; cloth yourselves with love; sing and give thanks to God for all things.

Matthew 4 Jesus saw Simon and his brother and James and his brother as disciples; he went through all Galilee and he cured them and crowds followed him because he was a healer.

A Prayer of Self-Dedication

Almighty and eternal God, 
so draw our hearts to you, 
so guide our minds, 
so fill our imaginations, 
so control our wills, 
that we may be wholly yours, 
utterly dedicated unto you; 
and then use us, we pray you, as you will, 
and always to your glory and the welfare of your people; 
through our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Amen.

Collect of the Day: The Third Sunday in Easter

O God, whose blessed Son made himself known to his disciples in the breaking of bread: Open the eyes of our faith, that we may behold him in all his redeeming work; who lives and reigns with you, in the unity of the Holy Spirit, one God, now and for ever. Amen.
