Make haste to deliver me; Into your hands I commend my spirit; have mercy on me; I am avoided by my friends; fear rules; But I trust you to rescue me; save me;  your shelter your people; you have shown the wonders of your love; be strong for those that wait in the Lord.

Matthew 13
Jesus tells parables like the mustard seed and yeast in talking about the Kingdom of heaven. This fulfills the words spoken by the prophets.

Collect of the Day: Proper 3

Grant, O Lord, that the course of this world may be peaceably governed by your providence; and that your Church may joyfully serve you in confidence and serenity; through Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen.
