Psalm 40

The Lord saved me from the pit; and God set me on high and gave me a new song; Sacrifice does not work but doing the will of the Lord is all that is needed; You are the Lord and be compassionate; deliver me;

Galatians 3

The promise of God are fulfilled through Christ; God gave the law first but now Christ; do not sin.

Matthew 14
Jesus made the disciples to go into a boat and it went off to a stormy sea; Jesus went to a quiet place; and walked on the water to catch up with him; they recognized Jesus, Peter asks to come to meet him but sinks; Jesus says have faith and saves Peter; they went to the next region and began a healing ministry.

Save us from the time of trial,

Suffrages

Show us your mercy, O Lord;

And grant us your salvation.

Clothe your ministers with righteousness;

Let your people sing with joy.

Give peace, O Lord, in all the world;

For only in you can we live in safety.

Lord, keep this nation under your care;

And guide us in the way of justice and truth.

Let your way be known upon earth;
