The Lord's Prayer

music: video | choir
Our Father in heaven,
hallowed be your Name,
your kingdom come,
your will be done,
on earth as in heaven.
Give us today our daily bread.
Forgive us our sins
as we forgive those
who sin against us.
Save us from the time of trial,
and deliver us from evil.
For the kingdom, the power,
and the glory are yours,
now and for ever. Amen.

Blessed are the dead that die in the Lord.
We pray today for those killed yesterday as a result of a shooting in:
Austin, Texas
New Orleans
Tulsa, Oklahoma
Kansas City, Missouri
Little Rock, Arkansas
Louisville, Kentucky
Norfolk, Virginia
Charleston, South Carolina
Oroville, California
Las Vegas
Durham, North Carolina
Garden Grove, California
Madison, Tennessee
Baltimore, Maryland

Be with their families as they bury their dead.
Heal those that were injured that they may recover to life and service.
Heal our society so that love not violence is the common day.
O Lord, hear our cry, that people stop shooting each other and walk the path of love together with your son Jesus Christ our Lord.
Amen
