Prayer of Confession
O Loving Father,

Forgive us of those things you have called us to do but in our own preoccupation with our lives, we forgot or don't do.

Forgive the terrible things done in our names as a citizen of a particular country.

Forgive those involved in gun violence and our failure to do anything about it. Let us mourn the death, pray for the living and take action against it.

Forgive us Lord.

Amen
