I was glad when they said to me, “Let us go to the house of the Lord.” Psalm 122:1

Pray this way or this way or this way.

Psalm 78
Let me hear you Lord;
Your teachings, parables, sayings of old,
The Lord gave them a promise to be with them always but they ignored God;
They forgot the miracles and wonders God did in liberating the people;
In Spite of their sin, God forgave them for the Lord is compassionate;
No matter how many times they sin; God will forgive.

Joel 1 | Background
Judgment and exile will come because of the sin of the people; the people will be punished for their lack of faith.

Revelation 19
Songs of salvation coming from heaven for the Lord reigns forever.

Luke 14
The cost of discipleship; families will be divided by faith; they build on the sand without a solid foundation; suing for peace; be salty.

Prayers and Intercessions | Mission St Clare | Book of Common Prayer.
Collect of the Day: proper 27
O God, whose blessed Son came into the world that he might destroy the works of the devil and make us children of God and heirs of eternal life: Grant that, having this hope, we may purify ourselves as he is pure; that, when he comes again with power and great glory, we may be made like him in his eternal and glorious kingdom; where he lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen.
For Mission
Almighty and everlasting God, by whose Spirit the whole body of your faithful people is governed and sanctified: Receive our supplications and prayers which we
offer before you for all members of your holy Church, that in their vocation and ministry they may truly and devoutly serve you; through our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Amen.
