Good Sermon - Listen

Today | Saturday  | 28 January 2017 a.d./c.e.
Psalm 55
Hear my prayer, O Lord, Iisten and answer me;
They are against me and want to escape;
I have seen violence and strife in the city and there is oppression;
I feel betrayed by my friends;
The Lord will hear my complaints and laments;
God will be righteous;
Evil will be destroyed.

Galatians 3
Faith has liberated us from the Law;
We are children of God;
There is no longer divisions or classes of people but one in Christ.

Mark 7
The religious noted that Jesus disciples did not follow the rules;
Jesus said that they do not have a transformation of the heart;
It is what comes out of the person that defiles comes from within.

Prayers and Intercessions | Mission St Clare | Book of Common Prayer.
Collect of the Day: The Third Sunday after the Epiphany
Give us grace, O Lord, to answer readily the call of our Savior Jesus Christ and proclaim to all people the Good News of his salvation, that we and the whole world may perceive the glory of his marvelous works; who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen.

For Mission
Almighty and everlasting God, by whose Spirit the whole body of your faithful people is governed and sanctified: Receive our supplications and prayers which we offer before you for all members of your holy Church, that in their vocation and ministry they may truly and devoutly serve you; through our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Amen.

Declaration
I affirm that I will be faithful and bear allegiance to Jesus Christ, the Prince of Peace, and to the Holy Spirit who moves us toward love, and that I will faithfully observe the peacemaking call of God and fulfill my vocation as an ambassador of reconciliation and as a citizen of the nonviolent Reign of God.
