Readings

Psalm 121 | Liturgy | Background
God will watch over you in all things and helps us over everything;
God will keep you safe.

Romans 10 | Paul writes …
My prayer is that all might be saved; follow the way of Christ for he is the end of the law; the word of faith - in your heart and lips - is saved; all are saved who calls on the name of the Lord.

John 6 |
The blind man continues to be interviewed by Jewish leaders; they asked his parents; they called the blind man and asked again; do you want to be Jesus disciples; God listens to Jesus; they drove him out; Jesus found the blind man and declared that he was the Son of Man - the Savior - and redeem the blind and for everyone to see.

Today | Collect of the Day: The Fourth Sunday in Lent
Gracious Father, whose blessed Son Jesus Christ came down from heaven to be the true bread which gives life to the world: Evermore give us this bread, that he may live in us, and we in him; who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and forever. Amen.

For Mission

Almighty and everlasting God, by whose Spirit the whole body of your faithful people is governed and sanctified: Receive our supplications and prayers which we offer before you for all members of your holy Church, that in their vocation and ministry they may truly and devoutly serve you; through our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Amen.

For Peace Among Nations

Almighty God our heavenly Father,

guide the nations of the world

into the way of justice and truth,

and establish among them that peace

which is the fruit of righteousness,

that they may become the kingdom

of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Amen.
