O Lord our ruler you are above all else.

The angels are not ruling but Christ is of glory;
He suffered and was brought to glory;
We are his brothers and sisters;
He shared all things that we have done;
He came to redeem us;
He is merciful.

Matthew 28

Today | Collect of the Day: Ascension Day
Almighty God, whose blessed Son our Savior Jesus Christ ascended far above all heavens that he might fill all things: Mercifully give us faith to perceive that, according to his promise, he abides with his Church on earth, even to the end of the ages; through Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, in glory everlasting. Amen.

For Mission

Almighty and everlasting God,
by whose Spirit the whole body of your faithful people
is governed and sanctified:
Receive our supplications and prayers
which we offer before you for
all members of your holy Church,
that in their vocation and ministry
they may truly and devoutly serve you;

through our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Amen.
