Psalm 25 | Misc. | Background
I lift my soul to you, O Lord;
Show me your ways and teach me;
You are the God of my salvation;
Forget my sins;
God guides us in paths of love and faithfulness;
Bring me out of my troubles;
Protect my life and forgive me;
Deliver us…

1 John 3
We are from the truth;
We receive from him for whatever we ask;
Confess Jesus;
You are from God;

Luke 4
Jesus filled with the Spirit went and began to talk;
In his hometown, He read from Isaiah as the Messiah will come;
Show us a sign; He didn’t and asked why; they drove him out; and he went on his way.

Today | Collect of the Day: Third Sunday of Easter
O God, whose blessed Son made himself known to his disciples in the breaking of bread: Open the eyes of our faith, that we may behold him in all his redeeming work; who lives and reigns with you, in the unity of the Holy Spirit, one God, now and forever. Amen.

For Mission

Lord Jesus Christ, you stretched out your arms of love on the hard wood of the cross that everyone might come within the reach of your saving embrace: So clothe us in your Spirit that we, reaching forth our hands in love, may bring those who do not know you to the knowledge and love of you; for the honor of your Name. Amen.

For Peace Among Nations

Almighty God our heavenly Father,

guide the nations of the world

into the way of justice and truth,

and establish among them that peace

which is the fruit of righteousness,

that they may become the kingdom

of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Amen.
