Psalm 118 |  Background
Proclaim God’s mercy endures forever;
God is at my side;
Rely on the Lord;
Remember the Name of the Lord is your strength and your song;
God is our salvation;  I will declare the words of the Lord.
I will give thanks to the Lord.

1 Corinthians 2
I know Jesus Christ and him crucified;
God has prepared wonders for us and our spirit;
We have received the Holy Spirit and know these spiritual things.

Luke 14
I will not leave you orphaned; I am in my Father and God will love them;
Keeping God’s word and God/Jesus/Holy Spirit lives and loves you;
The Spirit will come to you.

Today | Collect of the Day: Day of Pentecost
Almighty God, on this day you opened the way of eternal life to every race and nation by the promised gift of your Holy Spirit: Shed abroad this gift throughout the world by the preaching of the Gospel, that it may reach to the ends of the earth; through Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with you, in the unity of the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen.
For Mission
O God and Father of all, whom the whole heavens adore: Let the whole earth also worship you, all nations obey you, all tongues confess and bless you, and men and women everywhere love you and serve you in peace; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
For Birthday:
O God, our times are in your hand: Look with favor, we pray, on your servant Katheryn, as she begins another year. Grant that she may grow in wisdom and grace, and strengthen her trust in your goodness all the days of her life; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
The Lord's Prayer
Our Father in heaven,
hallowed be your Name,
your kingdom come,
your will be done,
on earth as in heaven.
Give us today our daily bread.
Forgive us our sins
as we forgive those
who sin against us.
Save us from the time of trial,
and deliver us from evil.
For the kingdom, the power,
and the glory are yours,

now and forever. Amen.
