Collect of the Day: Wednesday in Holy Week
Lord God, whose blessed Son our Savior gave his body to be whipped
and his face to be spit upon: Give us the grace to accept joyfully the sufferings
of the present time, confident of the glory that shall be revealed;
through Jesus Christ your Son our Lord, who lives and reigns with you
and the Holy Spirit, one God, forever and ever. Amen.

For Mission
O God and Father of all, whom the whole heavens adore:
Let the whole earth also worship you, all nations obey you,
all tongues confess and bless you, and men and women
everywhere love you and serve you in peace;
through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

For Travelers
O God, our heavenly Father, whose glory fills the whole creation,
and whose presence we find wherever we go: Preserve those who
travel, in particular (name); surround them with your loving care;
protect them from every danger, and bring them in safety to their
journey's end; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
