Lent - Year B (Mark)

Opening Sentence |
Alleluia! Christ is risen.
The Lord is risen indeed. Alleluia!| BCP p. 77

Collect of the Day | Friday in Easter Week
Almighty Father, who gave your only Son to die for our sins and
to rise for our justification: Give us grace so to put away the leaven
of malice and wickedness, that we may always serve you in pureness
of living and truth; through Jesus Christ your Son our Lord,
who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God,
now and forever. Amen.

For Mission
Lord Jesus Christ, you stretched out your arms of love on the hardwood
of the cross that everyone might come within the reach of your saving
embrace: So clothe us in your Spirit that we, reaching forth our hands
in love, may bring those who do not know you to the knowledge and
love of you; for the honor of your Name. Amen.

Glory to God whose power, working in us, can do infinitely more than
we can ask or imagine: Glory to him from generation to generation in
the Church, and in Christ Jesus forever and ever. Amen.     Ephesians 3:20,21
