Prayers and Intercessions
Collect of the Day | The Visitation of Mary to Elizabeth |
Father in heaven, by whose grace the virgin mother of your
incarnate Son was blessed in bearing him, but still more
blessed in keeping your word: Grant us who honor the exaltation
of her lowliness to follow the example of her devotion to your will; through Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with
you and the Holy Spirit, one God, forever and ever. Amen.
Collect for the Trinity
Almighty God, you have revealed to your Church your eternal Being of
glorious majesty and perfect love as one God in Trinity of Persons: Give
us grace to continue steadfast in the confession of this faith, and
constant in our worship of you, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit; for you live
and reign, one God, now and forever. Amen.
A Pilgrim's Blessing
May the babe of Bethlehem be yours to tend;
May the boy of Nazareth be yours for friend;
May the man of Galilee his healing send;
May the Christ of Calvary his courage lend;
May the Risen Lord his presence send
And his holy angels defend you, to the end.  Amen
For Creation
We give you thanks, most gracious God, for the beauty of earth and sky
and sea; for the richness of mountains, plains, and rivers; for the songs of
birds and the loveliness of flowers. We praise you for these good gifts,
and pray that we may safeguard them for our posterity. Grant that we
may continue to grow in our grateful enjoyment of your abundant
creation, to the honor and glory of your Name, now and forever. Amen

Glory to God whose power, working in us, can do infinitely more than
we can ask or imagine: Glory to him from generation to generation in
the Church, and in Christ Jesus forever and ever. Amen.
Ephesians 3:20,21
