Prayers and Intercessions
Collect
O Lord, make us have perpetual love and reverence for your holy Name,
for you never fail to help and govern those whom you have set upon the
sure foundation of your loving-kindness; through Jesus Christ our Lord,
who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, forever and
ever. Amen.
For a Clear Voice
Please God, now we need a voice, a clear voice, one that speaks in truth and common sense, not shouting, not evading, but telling us, all of us, no matter what our opinions, telling us how to find our way back, how to return to what is the best of us, speaking in compassion, speaking with invitation, but clear, determined, hopeful, a voice we can trust, that we can believe in, because it does not take sides, but stands in the center, at the heart, where our shared hope first began, where all people may gather, please God, we need that voice and we need it now.

For Creation
We give you thanks, most gracious God, for the beauty of earth and sky
and sea; for the richness of mountains, plains, and rivers; for the songs of
birds and the loveliness of flowers. We praise you for these good gifts,
and pray that we may safeguard them for our posterity. Grant that we
may continue to grow in our grateful enjoyment of your abundant
creation, to the honor and glory of your Name, now and forever. Amen
Glory to God whose power, working in us, can do infinitely more than
we can ask or imagine: Glory to him from generation to generation in
the Church, and in Christ Jesus for ever and ever. Amen.
Ephesians 3:20,21
