Psalm 88 | A prayer for a near hopeless individual |
The individual is praying like God has abandoned them -
the bleakest psalm | I cry to you day and night- I am near
the brink of the grave - I fell cut off that a pit separates from
me - I am imprisoned - where are you? - Why have you rejected me?

Acts 19 | Paul continues his travels
The idol makers came together because they were losing business
because the Good News that Paul and the rejection of Artemis of
the Ephesians; they were about to riot but the leader calmed them
down, told them they could be arrested for rioting, and it was a matter
for the courts. Imagine a preacher causing a riot?!?

Luke 4 |
Jesus was teaching on the Sabbath - a demon called to Jesus as the Holy
One of God - Jesus commanded the demon to come out of him and all
were amazed.

Collect for Week
Grant us, Lord, not to be anxious about earthly things,
but to love things heavenly; and even now, while we are
placed among things that are passing away, to hold
fast to those that shall endure; through Jesus Christ
our Lord, who lives and reigns with you and the
Holy Spirit, one God, forever and ever. Amen.

For Mission
O God and Father of all, whom the whole heavens adore:
Let the whole earth also worship you, all nations obey you,
all tongues confess and bless you, and men and women
everywhere love you and serve you in peace; through
Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
For Our Ministry
O gracious God, you have given your very self to save the world.
That we may be empowered to give up ourselves to one another.
You give us hope when hope is gone. You give of strength to
carry on. Amen
