Prayers and Intercessions
Collect for Week
O God, you declare your almighty power chiefly in showing mercy and
pity: Grant us the fullness of your grace, that we, running to obtain your
promises, may become partakers of your heavenly treasure; through
Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit,
one God, for ever and ever. Amen.
(Proper 21, Year B)

For Mission
O God and Father of all, whom the whole heavens adore:
Let the whole earth also worship you, all nations obey you,
all tongues confess and bless you, and men and women
everywhere love you and serve you in peace; through
Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
For Our Ministry
We pray for all in any need, the dislocated, the sick, the suffering,
the oppressed, the persecuted for the faith, those that mourn,
especially (name those here). Bless them O Comforting God. Amen
(The prayers of the people, Episcopal Parish of St. John the Baptist, Portland, OR

AR |
May the God of hope fill us with all joy and peace in believing
through the power of the Holy Spirit. Amen.
