citizens with the saints and members of the household
of God. | Ephesians 2:19| BCP p. 78 |

Psalm 24|
The earth is the Lord’s and all that is in it;
Who shall go to church and worship the Lord?
Open wide your doors to let the Lord in.

1 Corinthians 12/13
Now you are the body of Christ and individually members of it.
And God has appointed in the church first apostles, second prophets,
third teachers; then deeds of power, then gifts of healing, forms of
assistance, forms of leadership, various kinds of tongues. … Love is
patient; love is kind; love is not envious or boastful or arrogant or rude.
It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful; it does
not rejoice in wrongdoing, but rejoices in the truth. It bears all things,
believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.
You are called to love.

Matthew 18 |
Peter asks to Jesus how many times do I forgive one who wronged me?
Jesus - always. Your criteria for forgiveness will be used on the last day
to judge you … thank God that God is more forgiving! You are called
to forgive.

Prayers and Intercessions
Collect of the Day:
Almighty and merciful God, it is only by your gift that your faithful
people offer you true and laudable service: Grant that we may run
without stumbling to obtain your heavenly promises; through Jesus
Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with you and
the Holy Spirit, one God, now and forever. Amen.
(Proper 26 - Year B)

For Mission
O God, you have made of one blood all the peoples of the
earth, and sent your blessed Son to preach peace to those
who are far off and to those who are near: Grant that people
everywhere may seek after you and find you; bring the nations
into your fold; pour out your Spirit upon all flesh, and hasten
the coming of your kingdom; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

A Collect for Peace
O God, the author of peace and lover of concord, to know
you is eternal life and to serve you is perfect freedom:
Defend us, your humble servants, in all assaults of our
enemies; that we, surely trusting in your defense, may not
fear the power of any adversaries; through the might of
Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
A Prayer Attributed to St. Francis
Lord, make us instruments of your peace.
Where there is hatred, let us sow love;
where there is injury, pardon;
where there is discord, union;
where there is doubt, faith;
where there is despair, hope;
where there is darkness, light;
where there is sadness, joy.

Grant that we may not so much seek to be consoled as to console;
to be understood as to understand;
to be loved as to love.
For it is in giving that we receive;
it is in pardoning that we are pardoned;
and it is in dying that we are born to eternal life. Amen.

AR |
May the God of hope fill us with all joy and peace in believing
through the power of the Holy Spirit. Amen.
