2/24/2019     Day 55   Joshua 18:1 - 24:33

Reflection:

Joshua chastises  the balance of the tribes who have not
taken possession of the land. Many sections about the cities
within the allotment to each of the tribes. Designation of
cities of refuge. More cities. Debate over a worship site.
Joshua summaries and concludes his ministry. Covenant
Renewal. Appendix material at end. Joshua dies at 110 years.

Meditation/Contemplate:

… Hold fast to the Lord your God, as you have done to this
day. (vs 23:8)

Prayer:

My I daily renew my faith in you, O Eternal One.

O Lord, you have taught us that without love whatever we do
is worth nothing: Send your Holy Spirit and pour into our hearts
your greatest gift, which is love, the true bond of peace and of
all virtue, without which whoever lives is accounted dead
before you. Grant this for the sake of your only Son Jesus Christ,
who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God,
