Another revolt - this time by Sheba - calling for the army to leave
David; Joab commanded to loyalist; execution of Saul’s heirs; stories
of wars; David sings a song of praise; a listing of David’s heroes.

Meditation/Contemplate:

The Eternal One is my rock and salvation in all things and all times.

Prayer:

I love you, O Eternal One, you have forgiven me and give me salvation.
Your help is always with me.  Amen.

Almighty and everlasting God, you hate nothing you have made and
