Reflection |
Today -
Chapter 21 - Jesus has a triumphant entry into Jerusalem.
Jesus then cleans the Temple of commerce to remake it
a house of prayer. Leaders - What Authority? Jesus -
What authority did John the Baptist have? Leaders - We
don’t know. Jesus- then you don’t know. I will not answer.
Sinners will be saved. Story of the vineyard and the owner
and evil tenants. Leaders get mad but feared the crowd.

Collect for Pentecost 13
Grant us, O Lord, to trust in you with all our hearts; for,
as you always resist the proud who confide in their own
strength, so you never forsake those who make their
boast of your mercy; through Jesus Christ our Lord,
who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit,
one God, now and forever. Amen
as you always resist the proud who confide in their own
strength, so you never forsake those who make their
boast of your mercy; through Jesus Christ our Lord,
who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit,
one God, now and forever. Amen
Pray for those seeking God’s calling for their next
venture in life. Provide the meanings of giving
thanksgiving for all God’s gifts and wonders.
Amen.

Amen.
We remember those who have paid the ultimate
price on the altar of Freedom with their lives. We
pray for the families and friends they left behind.
Cause us all to be peacemakers. Amen
