Reflection |

Today -

Chapter 27 -
Jesus is brought before -
Chief Priests and Elders
Pilate
Judas repents and brings back the money;
He killed himself and they bought a field for a graveyard:
Pilate - Jesus or Barabbas  Crowd - Barabbas
Crowd - Kill him! Pilate - He is innocent! But judged with
The Crowd.
The Soldiers - mocked and whipped him
Simon takes the Cross
Two bandits - one asks for mercy - the other teases Jesus on
the Cross.
Jesus spent 3 hours dying of the Cross
Temple - central curtain torn; dead raised
Centurion - Truly this was God’s Son!

Chapter 28 -
Mary and Mary go to the place where Jesus is buried and
get quite a surprise; The guards fled, the angels move stone
And proclaim - He is Risen! Go meet him in Galilee.
They go to the disciples and tell them what they have seen and
Jesus appears and says,”Hi!”

The guards reported to the leaders the account but they told
them to lie about what happened.

They gather at the mountain - Go and teach everyone, baptize them
In God’s Name,  Make disciples everywhere. I am with you always,

to the end of the age.

O God, because without you we are not able to please you,
mercifully grant that your Holy Spirit may in all things direct
and rule our hearts; through Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives
and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God,
now and forever. Amen

Pray for those seeking God’s calling for their next
venture in life. Provide the meanings of giving
thanksgiving for all God’s gifts and wonders.
