Day 22 - Of Shipwrecks and the Story
A Prayer of Self-Dedication
Almighty and eternal God,
so draw our hearts to you,
so guide our minds,
so fill our imaginations,
so control our wills,
that we may be wholly yours,
utterly dedicated unto you;
and then use us, we pray you, as you will,
and always to your glory and the welfare of your people;
through our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Amen.

See Edwards words on Church planting on p. 109 - 111
Remember we are reading the New Testament chronologically with the Book of Acts as a backbone of telling the story and NOT the way the books and letters of the New Testament are currently arranged.
My Thoughts-
I am always stunned at the depth of faith that the early missionaries had in just going out to found the Christian movement seemingly without hesitancy or cost to themselves.
They had only faith and the story of Jesus and his love to start out. They also went out in twos and threes to tell this story.
What amazing things are your eyes seeing today through the eyes of faith?
In Christ,
Dave Eitland
