Day 25 - Direction
Prayer Suggestion |
Come Holy Spirit,
Fill the hearts of your faithful people and kindle
in them the fire of your love.
Send forth your Spirit and they shall be created,
And you shall renew the face of the earth. Amen

Coming to one of the great debates in the new Christian Church.
Edwards’ Book Key points -
Galatians was written by Paul in Spring, 50 CE/ad.
Luke reads Galatians before writing Acts.
The audience of the letter is NOT to an individual (or me) but rather the four churches in Galatia.
Compare Acts 15:1 to Galatians 2:11
Acts 15:40 is the point when the 2nd missionary journey of Paul begins.

My Thoughts-
I imagine that the whole direction of Christianity would have changed had this new thing been simply a sect of Judaism if the Council of Jerusalem led by James who has decided to move in that direction.
The faith is about salvation in Christ Jesus and not the following of any religious tradition or rules.
Invite your friends to our journey.
In Christ,
