Prayer Suggestion |

O Eternal One,

Open our eyes to see Your Presence,
Open our ears to hear Your call to us,

Open our hearts to love all.  Amen

Edwards has asked us to pause and read

the Letter to the Galatians. *

I am using NOAB5, Galatians, text and

notes as the source of this background for you.

(all above from NOAB5 notes and my thoughts)

Galatians 6

Paul calls the Galatians into ethical conduct in their lives for the care and mutuality for others who share the “pneuma” (Spirit) of Christ.
(NOAB5, p. 2087 notes)

v. 9a “So let us not grow weary in doing what is right, …”

Paul makes his final point by saying he has written by hand these final exhortations to boast of nothing except the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ. We are a new creation made possible of the Spirit of Jesus.

Live in the Spirit.
