Day 40 - We Want to See You Again!
Prayer Suggestion |
Almighty God, who through your only-begotten
Son Jesus Christ overcame death and
opened to us the gate of everlasting life:
Grant that we, who celebrate with joy the
day of the Lord’s resurrection, may be
raised from the death of sin by your
life-giving Spirit; through Jesus Christ
our Lord, who lives and reigns with you
and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and forever.
Amen

My Thoughts on Today’s Session -
Using New Oxford Annotated Bible 5th Edition
Notes.
Paul is recapping his life and the way the crew
that came to them acted with kindness and
gentleness. He recalls their persecution and
YET persisted in proclaiming the Word of God.
He continues to praise them for receiving
this Word and pursued the faith. They became
imitators of Christ.
Paul expresses as a parent to children his
longing to be with them again.
Invite your friends to our journey.
Happy Eastertide!
In Christ,
Dave Eitland
