Day 52 - Ministry in Action
The Jabez Prayer
And Jabez called on the God of Israel saying,
“Oh that You would bless me indeed,
and enlarge my territory,
that Your hand would be with me,
and that You would keep me from evil,
that I may not cause pain!”
So God granted him what he requested.
1 Chronicles 4:10 (NKJV)

Edwards insights for Today’s Reading-
Gives us a summary of the antics of
the rulers of Rome and Israel - they
are in disarray.Edwards gives in-depth summaries of
the “cross pollinators” of the faith:Titus - church live from 46 - 54 c.e.
and the first do great founding events…
the Jerusalem Council, etc.Timothy - one of the greats
Gaius - one of the founders of Galatian
churchArtstararchus, Secondus, Sopater -
Experienced the founding of Ephesus,
Thessalonica, and Philippi watching Paul

their growing pains in the faith.Get Edwards book.

Paul and the founders did NOT have a training
manual or a program to execute but with the
Holy Spirit talked to people and let them know
the story of grace and forgiveness in being with
Jesus. Paul did NOT keep the founding of churches
to himself but shared the leadership and training
with others… the six mentioned above with other
partners and disciples of the faith. They experienced
the faith community by being a part of the community.
May the Holy Spirit be in your life!
