Prayer:

“May God give you the desire of your heart and make all your plans succeed.” (Psalm 20:4, NIV)

Basic Reflections:

God’s plan continues for Abraham:


  • Isaac is born. God's promise is fulfilled.

  • Slave and child are cast out but taken care of by God

  • God tests Abraham re: Isaac

  • Sarah passes  & a long passage on a burial grounds for Abraham’s family


Meditation:

Abraham’s faith is so deep in God that he is willing to do anything God commands. 


Question of the Day:

Would we do the same?
