When the Siren Sounds:
A Prayer for Protection of First Responders
By Dave Eitland
O Lord the Great Healer,
Be with those responding with the siren I hear.
Give them grace under pressure and chaos,
Courage and care in their actions,
and the protection of your legion of angels in their swift travels.
May you heal and give patience to those that need it.

In Jesus Christ, our Lord and companion in all things,
Amen.

Dear Friends, Grace and peace from our loving God. Let us pray … Kindle in our hearts, O God, the flame of love that never ceases, that it may burn in us, giving light to others.
